L&D Role

‘Our L&D department offer ongoing continuous development throughout a consultant’s career. We offer a truly blended learning strategy, which includes; learning via electronic and online media as well as traditional face-to-face coaching sessions.

The L&D department are responsible for designing, organising and delivering all sales inductions across the G2V Recruitment Group and have an ongoing commitment to making all consultants the best that they can be.’

Meet Our Team

  • Katie Dowling – Global Head of Talent

    “ I develop and deliver creative people strategies to enable improved business performance in alignment with the G2V Recruitment Group strategy.” 

    With over 20 years of experience in recruitment and 14 in talent management positions. Katie has previously been responsible for opening, training and developing numerous offices across the EU and USA. Currently she covers G2V’s Talent Acquisition team globally and manages the L&D team. This ensures that at every stage of your career we are developing your skills, and teaching you new ones, so that you can be better recruiters and become excellent managers.

  • Matt Wells – Head of Sales Learning and Development

    “As the Head of Sales L&D I am here to make sure all new and current sales employees at all levels are developing their career in the right way.”

    Since Matt joined G2V Recruitment Group he's billed nearly two million for the company as a recruiter, has trained a countless number of recruiters, designed, developed and delivered innovative learning programmes and sessions and he runs the Centre of Excellence programme. His 22 years of experience in recruitment, CIPD accreditation, passion for his job and positive attitude at work are just a few reasons for his success.

  • Liam Paterson – Regional Learning and Development Manager

    Liam is the head of induction programme and develops training material for our junior members of the sales team. You will most likely meet with him in our Vivid Resourcing offices in Manchester and Glasgow, where he implements the core sales training. He also supports and develops the wider sales staff across the business by creating and facilitating bespoke blended learning for both on the job learning and professional and personal development. He loves energising others, facilitating fun and engaging workshops, having meaningful coaching conversations and all things growth mindset! 

  • Jaz D’Avola – Senior Learning and Development Consultant

    As a fresh graduate, Jaz joined the G2V Recruitment Group as a Recruitment Consultant. After a couple of years as a successful consultant she then progressed into a managerial role where she led her own team. 5 years into her career at G2V she then decided to join the L&D team to pass on her great knowledge and experience to help develop both new starters and experienced consultants. Having worked in both contract and perm, UK and European recruitment she is able to advise and train in most disciplines of recruitment. Jaz is primarily focused on developing staff from 0-2 years, inductions, system training and professional use of LinkedIn.

  • Francesca Gibbs – Senior Learning and Development Consultant

    “I am great at recruitment best practice. I teach you the G2V recruitment fundamentals so then you know exactly what to do at the start of your career; I’m also the G2V business systems guru.”

    Having more than 10 years of experience in recruitment, CIPD accreditation and great passion for her job, Francesca has a broad range of responsibilities; Design, Delivery and Development of high quality, engaging and business focussed training programmes. The eLearning materials encompass full training lifecycle, training needs analysis, design of programmes and delivery and evaluation. Francesca also assists with the inductions and system training at the G2V Recruitment Group.
